In this world there’re two roads people travel,
Two paths that are walked on each day.
One’s narrow and is traveled by the faithful;
The other’s wide with sinners who’ve strayed.
Like a sheep without a shepherd, I wandered;
And folly was the path I did roam.
Then JESUS found me and took me yonder
To the road I now walk that takes me home.
I’m on the road that takes me home, I’ll never turn away
I’m looking to the end where my reward awaits.
When this journey ends, I’ll start my first day
In paradise forever with the Lord.
There’s a path full of darkness from the devil.
Many stumble as they travel day to day.
But Jesus shines His light to life eternal;
So follow Him; Jesus is the Way.
I’m on the path that leads to life and  it is Jesus
And heaven is the place I’ll call home.
Now the steps I take are travelled in His service
As I journey on the road that takes me home.
I’m on the road that takes me home, I’ll never turn away
I’m looking to the end where my reward awaits.
When this journey ends at last, I’ll start my first day
In paradise forever with my Lord.
Praise God, I’m on the road that takes me home.
